The Benefits of a Certified Pre-owned car
This is a pre-owned vehicle certified by the manufacturer to be in top condition and comes with a factory warranty. Not all vehicles meet the strict eligibility to be certified preowned as they must:
- Be less than 6 years old
- Have less than 75,000 miles
- Be serviced according to schedule

Not all vehicles are certified as certified pre-owned vehicles. To be considered, traders must also ensure they meet the following requirements:
– Be under the age of 6
– Must be less than 75,000 km
– Regular maintenance
– Add a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report
2. Passes the Inspection Checklist
Vehicle inspections by dealer mechanics start with the exterior and confirm that the structure and appearance meet our standards. Inside, we continue a complete overhaul of finishes, seatbelts, floors, and more.
Next, evaluate the interior of the vehicle. Components such as the electrical system, engine, fluids, filters and transmission are thoroughly checked. Our dealers will ensure your tires are Mercedes-Benz approved and all recalls and standard service will be implemented before they are road-ready.
3. Passes the driving test
The best way to judge a vehicle is to drive it yourself. Here, MB dealer technicians evaluate steering, braking, suspension, drive shaft and overall ride performance. Noise and vibration levels are also monitored to ensure the experience behind the wheel is smooth, quiet and exactly what you expect.

All certified pre-owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles come with a remaining 4 year/50,000 miles new vehicle warranty. Once this expires, the Certified Pre-Owned Warranty will be activated, providing an additional 12 months of protection with unlimited miles. Then, with 1 or 2 year Extended CPO Limited Warranty available and unlimited mileage, you can buy and ride with complete confidence.
Under the Certified Pre-Owned Warranty, an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will make any necessary repairs or replacements to correct defects in materials or workmanship. Components covered include but are not limited to:
– Engine components

– Suspension
– Brakes (no normal wear on discs and pads)

– Electrical system

7 Day Exchange Period
To make sure you’re completely satisfied with your Mercedes-Benz, you can exchange it for another model within the first seven days or 500 miles, whichever comes first.

Trip Interruption
There’s no need to fear if you’ve broken down more than 100 miles from your house. Your travel expenses up to $300 per day for three days will be covered by Mercedes-Benz.
