Mercedes Benz ML350 2015

The 3.5-liter V6 engine, which gives the ML350 its name, has 360 horsepower. With this, it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 9 seconds and reach a top speed of 140 mph, which is very remarkable given that it weighs almost two tons. Although it could take some getting used to, the gearbox has a 7-speed automatic transmission that is controlled by a shifter positioned on the steering wheel.

The ML 350 also features Mercedes’ renowned 4matic drivetrain, which allows it to instantly send power to all four wheels. This feature may be useful when off-roading. Speaking of which, the car also comes with an off-road package that includes low-range gearing, lockable center and rear differentials, adaptive dampers, and air spring suspension.

Design

Design-wise, Mercedes really worked its design magic on the vehicle, managing to make the ML appear sporty and aesthetically pleasing without compromising any of its usefulness. The slanted rear pillar, which slopes forward to make room for glass where there would normally be a chunk of metal, is one of its most distinctive design features.

This gives the car a very opulent appearance, and it is a distinguishing design element that has been used in succeeding ML generations, albeit under the new model name, GLE. To further emphasize the ML’s style, Mercedes also included integrated running boards, curved edges, hood vents, and a slick metallic/chrome grill.

Comfort & Consumption

In addition to its attractive appearance and impressive performance, the ML 350 maintains loyal to its SUV roots by offering a very functional layout. It can comfortably fit five people, has lots of legroom, and has AC vents for both the front and back seats.

With the rear seats folding, there is a generous amount of cargo space—about 80 cubic feet—and even when the seats are occupied, there is still room for a family’s worth of luggage. The ML gets approximately 18 miles per gallon in the city and 22 on the freeway, which is respectable given its size and weight.

Interior

 With features like heated and electronically adjustable seats, a dependable infotainment system, and just much everything else you’d expect from a Mercedes car at the ML’s price point, materials are of the highest quality, and functioning is excellent. Remember that the ML was only produced until 2015, therefore it lacks many of the modern technical features found in many contemporary vehicles.
